Arsene can finally see the light and changing policy
INS
Gervinho £11m
Santos £6m
Park £3
Mertersacker £8m
Jenkinson £1m
TOTAL: £29m
OUTS
Fabregas £30m
Nasri £24m
JET £1m
Eboue £6m
Glichy £7m
Traore £3m
TOTAL: £71m
NET PROFIT: Just the £42 Million pounds then!!!
Add to that:
SUMMER TRANSFER WARCHEST: £40 Million
Toure + Bayor Transfer Facility: £40 million
So that's £42 million in transfer profits Plus £80 million untouched = £122 million.
And yet there are gaps and shoddy quality all over the place.
Yep. Arsene can finally see the light and is changing policy!

If this is ANYTHING, it is simply desperation; no "big" team in the world could not buy after losing 8-2 and having a relegation-worthy recent form record.

I certainly hope he's seen the light and going back to transfers of old.
To quote Wengers mantra about making superstars we need fairly experienced players, not stars but were 'known' players.
Henry, Overmars and Pires just to name a few were not 'super stars at the time but most of us knew about them.Yes there were a few unknowns but all grew into in becoming 'Greats' for the club.
That's all I want.
Not a big name like Sneijder (sorry flash) or even Benezema (not that I'd complain) but I'd be happy taking players had lost there way in a poor team or a crap league or players that were once thought broken (Overmars & Kanu) and can refind themselves and become a household name.
Merts is a start.

De Rossi? He bleeds orange and brown. Possibly the least likely player in the world to ever move away from his club.Babatunde wrote:I agree with you Boomer. I still don't see why players like De Rossi, Stekelenburg, Ashley Young and Nilmar haven't been gone for. None of these players are superstars, all of them woulda joined. But after the Old Trafford massacre, only rubbish Koreans will join now......
