check this link out tiger:

living in cov, getting to the villa is easy, but im not sure which way ur coming from.
get a train to birmingham new street and then either go to aston or witton, both are pretty nearby, you may need to get on another train from new street tho - anyway the link ive pasted should give u all the info u need.
i went last year, and we got off at aston and drank at the cap and gown, decent enough pub. the only prob was getting the train back, we ahd to wait out in the cold for around an hour in a queue for the train due transport issues and the amount of people i guess, but considering we won it was worth it. Hope that enuff info for ya!!
