I've defended Phil Senderos in the past on this forum.

In fact, this may the only time Senderos and the word defended come in the same sentence without other qualifying words such as shite. With one confused look, he handed Sevilla the momentum. Never seen a mistake result in two goals before.

Why does Wenger put his faith in him, while the likes of Upson were never given a chance?
