Frimpong and Alex Song Billong

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

same quality as defensive midfielders
average
in my opinion: not AFC level players in that field zone
what your thinking about this?

Frimpong has potential but should not be in the first team - maybe out on loan to get more experience. Song, our supposed first team player, should never be playing for Arsenal. Simply not good enough. He is Championship level but we are stuck with him until this manager goes.

I think wenger ruined song when he started letting him roam forward whenever he wanted and didn't rein him in a bit,as for frimpong I think he wants to be a wannabe rapper more than a footballer with all this dench b****cks and posing with those stupid tshirts and silly rappers.

I am never one to defend Wenger but even I would not blame him for ruining Song. Fact is Song was always poor - Wenger's only error was to pick him.

Hopefully M'Villa will come and these two are just a stop gap. I do feel Coquelin has more quality than Frimmy but he is too slight at the moment.

Mulumbu from West Brom is quality, id sign him and also Steven N'Zonzi is a very good player, both better than our current DM's

Bollocks saying Frimpong is your average DM.
I would mention Frimpong in the same breathe as Wilshere, in an ideal world, he would've been learning from Viera or Gilberto.

He is built like a tank, has got good positioning and make a good pass. also he is getting more disciplined by the game.

As for song, he is shite!! end off.

Rather Frimpong in than Song.

Its Sept ffs, no point in moaning about who we should or shouldn't buy.

Time to buy a proven dm instead of wasting anymore time with kids.

of course you've got to give a player time, ffs how many full Competitive games has frimpong played and fans already writing him off -

deserves at least a season

winning a fucking trophy, won't make things better - it will just paper over the cracks

can you imagine if we won last seasons Carling Cup, Wenger would be in a told you fucking so mode, and banging on about his faith and the young players would come good - blah blah blah

the best thing that can happen, is more piss poor performances so we get a manager who will spend and a board who will financially support him
