Dein being a c**t again. Helping Spuds now

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Dein being a c**t again. Helping Spuds now

Post by Justin-the-Gooner »

I am disgraced. He even compared them to us. Calls himself a Gooner. He should be ashamed.

Former Arsenal vice president David Dein has offered some advice to Tottenham Hotspur about their stadium plans.

Dein was very influential behind the scenes for Arsenal before he left the club earlier this season, and has now advised their North London rivals over a proposed redevelopment of White Hart Lane.

"In some senses, Tottenham are similar to Arsenal in that they have now outgrown their old stadium," said Dein.

"I am quite confident that Spurs, with their large fan base can fill a 60,000-seater ground. They have two options, either redeveloping White Hart Lane or building a new ground away from their current home.

"Both options bring plenty of challenges and my advice would be to consult widely before making their decision."

It has been suggested that if Tottenham were to redevelop their current stadium, then they could move to Wembley as a temporary home until White Hart Lane was finished.

What a bitch :!: I hope that Dein and Usmanov sell their shares back to the Arsenal board and join up with Sp*rs; although it is unlikely, I hope :)

MAYBE IT'S A CUNNING PLAN IN WHICH HE RECOMMENDS THEY BUILD A 60,000 SEATER, KNOWING THAT, UNLIKE US, THEY WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO FILL IT AND THEREFORE THE SPUDS WOULD LOOK EVEN MORE RIDICULOUS THAN THEY DO NOW - ESPECIALLY AFTER THEIR BOASTING OF HAVING A 'MASSIVE' FAN BASE!!!! 8) 8)

OR DEIN MIGHT JUST SUGGEST THEY USE A CERTAIN BUILDER WHO HE KNOWS WILL FUCK-UP THE JOB AND CAUSE THEM TO OVER-SPEND UNTIL THEY ARE FORCED TO DECLARE THEMSELVES BANKRUPT!! 8)

JUST HAD A THOUGHT: IF THE LAST SCENERIO HAPPENED, DEIN - WITH HIS NEWLY ACQUIRED MULTI-MILLIONS - MIGHT DECIDE TO BUY THE SPUDS JUST TO SPITE US!!   :x

Yeah think he's just having a laugh

What reason would he have to help Spurs in any shape or form? He'd become most hated man in north London....Doubt Spurs fans would be able to take him to heart either

I reckon it would be full most weeks after a while.

Because they would give up and give half the tickets to the away supporters.

I can see it now

Arsenal have more fans at the new Shite heart Lane then the home team today. There is still a few empty seats in the home section. If you look to your left you will see David Dein laughing as he started this off.

But that is dreamland. He will now do anything despite the club. He is not a Gooner anymore and I feel he would go to that low and even help Spuds.
