Courier/delivery companies. I fucking hate them.

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Courier/delivery companies. I fucking hate them.

Post by olgitgooner »

 Ordered a new Bluray thingy. The fuckers didn't tell me who was delivering it.

They tried to deliver it twice (fair enough, but I can't arrange for somebody to be at home from 07.30 through to 17.30. At short notice)

I am now supposed to collect from the depot. This would involve a round trip of about 45 fucking miles. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Whats wrong with Royal Mail/ Parcelforce or whatever the fuck it's called these days? You can collect your shit next day from somewhere reasonably near to home. Or get a phone number which will connect you to a human. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

This is the second time I've had problems with these companies. And I'm not a big shopper.

I had this with Parcelforce a while ago!

If they cannot deliver it a 2nd time they are supposed to take it to the local post office rather than back to the depot.

Call them and make them resend it! They tried to make me go all the way to Coventry to get my parcel.

Useless fuckers! Failed fucking postmen I say!

How stupid do you need to be to order something on next day delivery knowing that you will be out on the day of delivery????? You deserve to have the trouble now of going to collect it! why should they have to deliver again cos u cant sort your shit out?? and u will probably be out again!! These drivers have 100+ deliveries a day, do u think they can ring each one half an hour before they deliver on their own phones?
On a good note Interlink Express give a 1 hour window of when they will deliver either texted to your phone or e mailed so u can make sure your in!
Dont order the goods if your not gonna be there dumb fucks!!

Mixed bag.

I have found UPS to be good, Fedex to be good.

Royal Mail not too bad as they usually come about 8am so there is a chance they catch you before work.

For reasons I have never understood I can be sent to four different depots, one is ten minutes away, two of the trips take one hour, the other an hour and a half.

Feck of, remember that these people are PAYING for next day delivery. If they cant give a time scale of at least 2 hours then its those doing the delivery who need to sort it out and get more organised. I mean this whole it will be delivered between 9am and 6pm is a piss take. Especially if you paid next day delivery charge.
