Flanimal Planet

Post by DanielD »

Flamini was brilliant today and all season . He is the best defensive midfielder we have and that's saying something with the likes of Diarra and Diaby still in the team (although Bert is the Brazil national team captain, he is my 4th pick in that position). The way that he got stuck in today was just what we were missing last season.

Daniel D. If only I could leave Earth and go to the Flanimal planet...I'd be there in a flash!

I love the Flanimal.

thought he had a great first half,, except he gave the ball away for the goal, and its not the first time he has done that this season,, but he keeps going and has great heart,, but im still not convinced he's the man we need in the middle, and would still prefer diarra to be cesc's partner

"Flanimal" is catching on. I just saw it on Arseblog. Remember where you heard it first.

Soon I'll try to get it in the dictionary!

I wasn't sure about him keeping Gilberto out of the side but now he seems to a big part of our midfield. I think Gilberto will leave as I can't see him coming back into the side. Just imagine, Flamini was close to leaving to Birmingham City in summer, how quickly times change. I hope he signs a new contract as quickly as possible.

His celebration against Aston Villa

If I was "Katie", I'd go for Rosicky

Judging by these two pictures, it is no contest.

I thought Diarra outshone flamini to be honest. You gotta love flamini's determination and spirit but I would have subbed him for bert in 2nd half - how can it make sense to take off rosicky who was the midfielder left capable of retaining possession(thanks to carew) to bring on bert ? In the 2nd half we just kept giving the ball back to them and at times we just hoofed balls up towards ade. I would also have brought in bedtner for ade a lot earlier cos either ade was fcuked or he wasnt bothering his arse to work for those kind of passes. Theo had another one of those "rabbit caught in the headlights" days - be decisive theo cos nothing looks worse than seeing you caught not knowing where to go and when

"Katita".

Fuck knows what it means...

Maybe it means "thanks for the support TS, and thanks to your brother for giving me such an ace nickname." Just a guess...

We must start of that song for him
Excellent player, always liked him but underated but very glad he's getting the limelight at the moment
He worked well with LD8 i thought
Who needs Cesc Fabregas when you've got Flamini

The guy's awesome...he was more of an attacking midfielder today and handled it perfectly.

I'm all for givining him a song, Lets have a competition who can come up with the best one :D

My suggestion would be that we give him one of the best songs sung at Highbury but gave it to someone who didn't at all deserve it, Nelson Vivas  . I loved that song and all we need to do is to change Vivas for Flaminal...anyone can join in, you don't even need to speak the language :D
