What are the additions to the previous edition? Is it available at Waterstones and the like or only online?

The latest edition has RED seats on the cover, don't get it confused with the first edition that has blue seats.

the publisher is being a bit of a dickhead. It should've been available on Amazon and Waterstones from 27/10, but Amazon are anticipating delivery in November.

Waterstones should have copies but some of the branches don't but will order for you.

The author is a decent lad.

My old man was at school with John Lydon at Eden Grove & says he has zero interest in The Arsenal. He was never interested in football & was given a real hard time at school.

He will do anything for publicity though(advertise butter etc), so this doesn't surprise me

I'm not saying you're ol' man is lying, but John and his brother have been coming over the Arsenal since the 70s. They may not have done so when at school. John was drinking with a few lads I know by Wembley Park tube before the CC and is also known to go in the Two Brewers off the Cally when he's over here.

His brother recorded the classic clockend tune "Crack away on the beano" with the 4B2's and rumour was, John is on it. . . but he already had a record contract which forbade him from doing anything for anyone else.

Fair enough mate

As far as my old man remembers when he was at William of York in Brewery Road, he was a scrawny little kid who would always have a note to get out of sport & had no interest in the Arsenal.

May have changed as he grew up....

He has a picture from around 1963-64 of their class, will locate it & put it up on here later

Lydon was often seen over the Clock End in the 'late 70's & at aways as well.

Went to the same school but younger year, teachers said he was a quiet lad when there?

Jimmy was in my year & mad Arsenal!!!!!
