GEORDIE PREDICTIONS

Post by SPUDMASHER »

Not as clear cut as we might at first think this one.
Sure, the geordies are in turmoil with mutiny being reported in the press but 'The Walrus' is in a precarious position and cannot afford to lose another game in a row. I suspect that he will pick a 4-5-1 with 2 defensive midfielders and try to stifle us. Expect a few hooligan tackles in there for good measure too.
Nevertheless, I think we will be too creative for them and will edge it.
I'm going for a 1-0 away win.

Starting 11 predictions????

Don't forget to vote on the poll

The Geordies are revolting,

In a way i think they want us to win so they can get shot of Fat Sam.And i think we will obilge. 3-0 to us.

Just hope Cesc and Helb are fit.

With Helb out we need Cesc back.We were a different team once Helb went off at Villa. Who should replace Helb then?

I suspect Fat Sam will revert to the tried and tested tactics which have served him so well against us in the past i.e. kick us all over the park and try to sneak a goal from a set piece, a long hoof over the top or a simple ricochet off someone's arse.

We've never given him the proper doing he deserves, so fingers crossed for Wednesday. An early goal might herald a cricket score. Even if we just pass them off the pitch without scoring for the first 20 minutes their crowd will get on their backs.

Newcastle have a really weak back 4.I would go 2 upfront and put their shaky defence under pressure. I would give Bendtner a start with Ade. Midfield of Cesc(i hope).Diarra,Rosicky and Eboue

Fooking hell. Hleb, Flaminal, Fab & Diaby all out according to arsenal.com

I guess Eboue, Bert, Diarra, Dinilson and pos Theo if he plays 5.

I'd put Denilson on the bench as he is not fully fit and let Bendtner partner Adebayor. It'd be good but I think Arsene Wenger will still play 4-5-1 as you said.

I don't think Bendtner and Ade would be a good partnership. Stick Ade and the Dude out there! I don't think I'd dread the idea of Ade leading our frontline nearly as much if he had a strike partner!

We should try Bendtner and Adebayor partnership, we won't know if it works or not until it is tried. Both Bendtner and Adebayor are 1.93 m (6 ft 4 in) according to wikipedia; they are taller than all Newcastle centre-backs. Seeing that Newcastle's defence has been in bad form and are shorter than Bendtner and Adebayor; wouldn’t this be a good time to test the partnership?

Hleb, RVP, Cesc, Flamini, Diaby all out injured and Fat Sam and his Cartoon army in desperate need of a result, I reckon they might well turn us over
