As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
his latest comments on the Arsenal FC home page are unbelievable
he says he LET Nasri leave in the summer
yeah right like he had any say in the matter. He wanted out and got out.
and then I was reading earlier and he said that we can't compete financially with City but we can compete with them as a football team.
Er how does that work?
if we have less money there is no way we can compete with them as a football team as the league table is proving.
Wenger does not do himself any favours coming out with this crap.
I do understand his thinking by playing the reserves tonight though. The first team needs to be fresh for Saturday. The ridiculous fixture congestion is not his fault.
I think he should play the first team tonight, and the reserves against Olympiacos. I don't subscribe to the theory that the first team players can only play one game a week.
He had one year left on his contract which IMO he would have honoured. Arsenal did let him leave.
No, the board told Wenger to sell, Wenger wanted to keep him regardless, he thought he could persuade Nasri to sign a new contract.
Wenger is a lying bastard, constantly trying to cover his own miserable failing, incapable self.
