As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
As a sports fan I do listen to Talksport and although they have pricks like Adrian Durham I do enjoy Wrighty and even find the spud and the chav Hawksby and Jacob quite amusing.
Unfortunately, like the rest of the media though they love to stick the boot into Arsenal and I had two emails read out on air yesterday on medicine ball head brazils show but were then completely dismissed as rubbish!
The first was along the lines that how hilarious it was that the fa/pfa etc had been bleating for weeks about foreigners ruining our game and who do they want as manager?
The second was in response to as story that 1 in 4 babies born in Britain is now foreign - to which I answered that "I expect Arsene Wenger will get the blame for that!".
As I said, they went to air so the point was made but they then were thrown aside by describing me exaggerrating the bad press Arsenal get about foreign players!.
They are biased to the max. The only opinions that count to them lot are their own and those that agree with them. Even their non-sport shows (james whale) are the same. Say something he doesn't agree with and he shouts at you, tells you you are talking rubbish and then cuts you off.
Pay them no heed in future. I wouldn't even contribute to their listening figures.

I gave up listening to Talksport 3 years ago.They are just so anti-Arsenal.Dont waste your time listening to them.Also i used to find their presenters very racist

Agreed Donaldo i think that tit with the squeeky voice in the moring show gaunty is very rascist. I find H and J ok but i wont listen to the rest even wrighty pisses me off yet i loved him as a player
I actually listen to talk sport all the time, in the full knowledge they are anti Arsenal, but so are the papers so I'm used to it by now..
Ironically the fairest and least biased presenters are H&J (**** and chavs)..
One thing TalkSport has done is completely change my view on Wrighty.
I love Ian Wright the player, the man (seems a geniune laugh and good bloke) but since he left Arsenal, all he seems to do is slag us off. Wont forget his prediction in the summer that Spurs would take 4th place . Couple that with the constant "my Shaun" bollocks I have no time for him as a pundit.

This is a theme with most Arsenal legends see Alan Smith, Paul Merson and even Tony Adams! they dont want to seem Arsenal bias so they lean on the negative points rather than the good points! Do you think Wrighty Merse and ohh ohh dont care about the Arsenal? not me I just think they need to watch Charlie Nicholas and Frank McClintock more
This morning Mike Parry saying that Eboue should have walked for the tackle on JT and Alan Brazil saying that he understands why Cashley stuck his fingers up to the crowd!
sometimes i dunno wat they talk more weather they talksport more or talkshite more.....then agen 1 of ems an ex spud anyway so he would be biased, did they mention both joe coles tackles, or cash punching cesc in the face???? i bet i could answer my own question there!!!NO!!!

Sky Sports news where the same, saying about Eboue challenge on Terry but they didnt mention, John Terrys 2 footed lung on Cesc while he was on the ground! or even the cynical challenge from Joe Cole on Eboue which spelt the end of he's game,
They failed to mention Ashley Cole Gay hand slap on Cesc,
And to top it all they asked Tony Cascarino he's opinion of the incidents totally unbiased then???
