Sorry but how many times has the FA come out against Arsenal itself in terms of English talent? Pearce has been quite level headed as U21 manager about the supposed lack of players we produce and can't recall Redknapp going on at us so let us deal with those who deserve to be dealt with. Brooking did come out against us once which was very disappointing.

Capello is a brilliant manager taking on an impossible job, I would say last eight at world 2010 would be a success despite the attempts to write Sven as a failure. He gets the job because he is an amazing candidate as Arsene would have been picked if he had wanted the job. The England managers have not done enough yet in some cases or never will do to get the job.

If English managers want the big jobs, which for one reason or another they are not getting over here, do what Hughes, Sanchez did and take over a country or like Pearce an U21 job if your young, you can learn a lot there. Or even better, do what Venables, Robson and to a certain extent O'Neil did, go abroad even if you go down a division. Success there will show you can adapt, you can learn a lot from a new country, learning another language or two could come in handy.

Also if they are really good, why are the managers unable to win Fa or league cups more often?
