Restaurants near the Grove
Gave my old man my united tickets for his birthday because I couldnt make it and he wants to go with my mum to a restaurant after the game on Sunday. Any recommendations of a restaurant or even a pub that serves food on a Sunday after 6

I would say trullo on Highbury corner but they do not serve Sunday dinner.
There is a very good Argentinian steakhouse on the Blackstock Road, can't remember the name.
Also on the Blackstock there is Yildiz Ocakbasi a nice Turkish joint and Il Cavaliere an Italian place where you often see the team/manager/Gazidis after games... It is probably fully booked after the game though.
Lots of good joints on Upper Street. On the holloway road there isn't that much. If you like kebabs I'd say Yildiz or if you want to drink Delight, next to the 12 Pins.
There are also a few decent places on the holloway road, you could just walk down and see what takes your fancy.

Depends? El Pirata in Mayfair, Tendido Cero or Capote y Toro in South Kensington, Tendido Cuatro on the Fulham Road, La Rueda on the Kings Rd, La Mancha in Putney, and one I can't remember up near Regent's Park...flash gunner wrote:Anywhere i can get a nice Tapas SWL?SWLGooner wrote:I would say trullo on Highbury corner but they do not serve Sunday dinner.

Oh and the massive market-style place in Portobello Rd/North Kensington....
...alternatively you could just have a ploughman's?
