Arsenes Legacy

Post by Wengerball »

Theres a lot of anger towards Our Dear Leader on the board at this moment and quite rightly so I might add. There is no question in my mind that his race is well and truly run as Arsenal.

The problem is that it is now getting to the point with me that he is threatening to destroy the legacy that he built up until 2005 with the shite thats being served up now.

I hate to say it but I feel that he has lost all respect I had for him and his achievements at our club are beginning to fade and be replaced with the bitter and horrible memories from these last 7 years at the club. His status as a former hero at our club is turning to that of a villain intent on destroying our great club.

To that extent Arsenes legacy is tainted from my point of view and in my mind he has spolit all the good he has done for us with the contempt and arrogance he has towards the fans and his refusal to see his own failings.

I dont know if its like this for anyone else but I really feel at this point that he has lost his status as an Arsenal legend and has completely corrupted all of the good work he did in the past with the garbage on show now.

I never thought i would feel like that about him but I just hope he leaves before he harms the club any more

NO!!

It's certainly in tatters at the moment BUT once he's retired, and given time, I'd imagine his legacy will slowly be pieced back together again. After all, he achieved a hell of a lot between 1998-2005 and time does tend to bring out the rose tinted glasses in the majority of people.

Of course, some will never forgive him, but most will, and future generations will look back at the record books, and all he achieved, and appreciate it.

Wengers legacy until 2006 will remain, nobody can take that away from him.

Just as his legacy over the last 6 years has brought the club in the mess its in now.

Nah, I mean he has to go and soon, but it doesn't make the good times he gave us any worse. It just makes it a bit sadder going through the bad times with him, at least for me.

Because no matter how shit it became, he was really one of us, and many of those good times are better than many football fans get in a lifetime.

Depends on how much damage he has done to the club long term. Hell I see jokes about us every single fucking day, for example: (Rivalries Viera - Keane, Torres - Goals, Arsenal - Trophies). Things are really really shit as an Arsenal fan at the moment, because of the GIC. Blame the board all you want, but Wenger took AOC off today and its not the first tactical error he has made just this season! C*nt of the highest order.

No - we will never forget some of our great memories. The Invincibles were a testament to football.

But it is time for him to go, now.

I almost didn't vote and was going to post that he was getting close, but I think he has. Continually using Arsehaven, not buying to correct such obvious weaknesses etc convinces me that he is now deluded and has to go now, before the hate grows.

Yes, because when he leaves (which is hopefully very soon) he's going to leave us with a stinking pile of shit for players, who'll be on long mega contracts...He makes me fucking sick, just like seeing Walcunt and Roshity lining up for us also does.

clough relegated forest and they love him.

wait till he's gone, give it 5 years of treading water and no success while the next manager is either hamstrung by the board or just by clearing up the mess he's inherited, and you'l lstart to hear murmurs of how not only is wenger the best manager we've ever had, but probably the best the english game has ever seen.

mark my words!
