Arsenal Fans are just really thick
A little harsh maybe but not many posts really deal with the serious issue which is the board.
In 7 years we have managed to get rid of Dein and many other board members and ended up with Kronke.
If you have somebody in control who only cares about profit then you are doomed.
Wenger will never ever be sacked. He never spends money and sells the best players.
Kronk will love that. Nothing else has doomed this amazing club other than mis management at the very top.
Have a go at the players and the manager but you should all aim your anger at the top.
I am also really thick as well as I though there would surely be something in place if we ever fell below 4th. WRONG.

Your right about the board mate, but unless you want to go down the city chavs route or getting a massive dept like utd any new owner or board member will look at profits first, dein took millions out of our club by by dirt cheap shares and selling for massive profits and to my knowledge never put one penny of hes own money back in. As much has hill wood is well past hes sell by date imo he is the only one who proberly has the club going thro his veins altough very misguided proberly thinks every thing is best for the future of the club. New owners worry me im always better the devil you no. Doesnt mean im right tho!

good luck with the post supergeorgegraham. You are spot on
one of the reasons I joined this forum back in September was to highlight this very problem. The board is THE main problem at the club not the manager. The main reason is that money these days is more important than the manager. Look at Manchester City if you are not sure.
Trying to get this though to supporters who as you say are "thick" can be challenging at times. I usually get called a thick WUM *word censored* but am used to it now
I am sure it would amuse Kroenke to know that this forum has nearly a 100 pages on plans for a Wenger out banner whereas there is very little interest to remove him. People forget of course that Wenger needs to be sacked to be removed.
the same people who want Wenger out are quite happy to give Kroenke thousands of pounds in season ticket money. Just to see how far he could push fans last year Kroenke increased prices by 6.5% and STILL he doesn't get abuse. I bet he can't believe his luck.

As for people on here not having a go at the Board - again, what the hell are you orally digesting, because you must be on something mind-altering to come out with a comment like that? Have you actually been reading this forum over the past few years?

Not sure what your intentions were starting this thread but the only bit I can agree with is the start of the last sentence!!

I still believe Wenger is the key problem, the board doesn't pick the team nor dictate our style of play.
Wenger has spent money, he has simply spent it badly, eg Walcott, Reyes, Saqillachi.
He has perservered with the likes of Almunia, despite public ridicule. He has rewarded dross with new contracts when he could have let existing contacts run down.
I don't think it would take much managerial expertise to have improved on Wenger's results over the past 5 seasons.

Why don't you just feck off somewhere else - preferably to the reincarnation of arsenal.com - where you can be with like-minded, if a little simple, people? No-one takes anything you say seriously and your attempts at winding up are so see-through they're frankly pathetic.Red Member wrote:what is written on your little picture on here rather sums you up.I Hate Hleb wrote:As if it needed it, having RedWumber on your side only strengthens my belief that what you've written is bollocks!!![]()

The board dont have a clue how to run a football club nor does Stanley. Thats why they all RELY on Wenger and worship and hide behind him.
If Wenger goes and the current structure remains I truly fear we'll be rudderless.
Wenger is a problem because he is the most influential powerful person at Arsenal, and there is nobody else there to challenge him, mainly because they haven't got a vision of how to run the club except the Wenger way.

Kroenke will stop at nothing to make money.
Check out this article about his american football team.

I give it 5 years maximum that Arsenal will be playing some home fixtures abroad.
