One season boycott nearly over

One season boycott nearly over

Post by MutleyGooner »

Last summer I decided that I would boycott the souless bowl for the season, this was for a number of reasons which included the transfers of Fab & Nas, along with the ticket price hike and on a more personal level the death of Charlie Chalie, I just felt shit about the thought of facing a match day knowing he wasnt part of it. I have been to one away match this season, it was Fulham away back in January, that match convinced me that I needed the break as I really wasnt enjoying the matchday experience. Well my season of abstinence is almost over and I have to say that that I have not missed it as much as I thought I would. I used the time to start a new hobby, Greenlaning. To those that have no idea what this is, its basically driving off tarmac but not quite as extreme as most would think of off-roading, I aleady had a big fuck off 4x4, I just spent a few quid making it even more capable and have loved every minute. That said, I am really looking forward to next season and once again rekindling my love of the Arsenal and meeting up with friends old and new. Just thought I would post this to say I look forward to seeing you all next season.

Mutley xx

I get you op.
I m only a red member,
But I ve been offered the chance to become a ST holder,
Which I postponed for a year..

I went to one game this year,
For Henry s return with a mate..
The year before I went to almost all the home games..

Result?
I got a lot of lovely urban art on my Walls to show for it..
And I can resell them if I need money..

I can't say I missed going to the grove this year ..

Hi Mutley, I'm renewing my ST cos I'm going away the year after that and want to get my fix while I can, as I might not be in a financial situation to go after that year. Green laning sounds like a euphemism, especially coming from you.

If you had to choose a season off it would be this one.
We were never in the title hunt.
