thats right, this team, with average age of 19, are basically veterans..
You're sounding very bitter now..must be that the 'Saviours of English football' have been shown up for another year by our youngsters..
You had one crop of excellent youngsters, and lived off them for the next 10 years. Since then you've had to buy or poach any decent youngster that's played for you, while we, on a shoestring budget, are taking the piss out of premiership sides on a weekly basis..
You'll be fine though, another 50 odd mill spent this summer and the title could be yours!!
you payed off that £30m for Rooney yet?

Is he not part of the team at Manure, or is it that if you included the whole team you would be talking bollocks?
well if you had played lehman instead of Almunia you would have had a 1.8yr older average age...with almunia your average age was less than 3 months younger.....of all the out field players on that day ..we had the lowest average age..yet the media still spun it as your "kids" against our team....
you have to laugh at how much the southern based media really get irratated at us norvern monkeys winning everything

Pancho - no one is calling our first team a bunch of kids. They're called a "young team" - which they are. That cannot be denied. Our team we fielded last night is referred to as 'kids' because the average age of the squad was 19. That cannot be denied. You sound very bitter, and I don't see where you're going with this. Nothing that the media has said about the age of our team/squad has been incorrect.

Yes and if we had played Fabianski...blah, blah, blah.... But we didn't did we. We played Almunia, our current first choice goalkeeper.Pancho wrote:SPUDMASHER wrote:Excluding the GK?...... Why?

You can only manipulate facts so far.
I'm the best footballer in the world if you don't count Ronaldo, Fabregas, Henry, My auntie Edith etc.etc.etc.......Come back when you can construct a sound argument.

I think he's all bitter becuase manure lost to coventry, with their home grown talents, that cost 31 million, in Nani and Anderson. Not to mention Carrick that was bought at a bargain price of 18 mil.
