Owen Hargreaves
It has been announced he is leaving Man City, likely we could get him on a signing on fee and pay as you play deal. Would fit into Wenger's economical transfer philosophy and also has the experience and professionalism that Wenger has recently sought after. He could hold in midfield whilst all the others bomb forward, I reckon he could be a shrewd signing.

'a shrewd signing'. LOL
BBC are going to offer him for a contract in Casualty.
Unless, of course, we are going for an all Prem injured team of the year?

I would sign him on a pay as you play deal.
But in addition to M'Vila and Vertonghen.

Re: Owen Hargreaves
Just what we need another patient
We are a football club not a hospital

Re: Owen Hargreaves
Could be a good signing, like Owen will have fresh legs as has only played 2 games in 5 years, and if he can get fit would add steel to the fragile midfield and if I'm honest i am tired of signing wimpish foreigners...atleast Owen is sort of English
Re: Owen Hargreaves
No, no, no, no. But it wouldn't surprise me at all if Wenger signed him up. After all we need to avoid paying "dizzying" prices for some other super quality players.

Our two summer signing will be Hargreaves and Owen.
They will fit right in.

Re: Owen Hargreaves
Could you imagine it, both free, both broken, both rejects, both with super quality, the place would go mental.
Re: Owen Hargreaves
We're limited to 25 players though... not sure filling two spots with Diaby and Hargreaves is the best use of the squad, to be honest.QuartzGooner wrote:I would sign him on a pay as you play deal.

Re: Owen Hargreaves
If we signed Hargreaves we would put him on the the same wages as perma-crock Diaby
Re: Owen Hargreaves
Shall we really go for it and sign Kieron Dyer and Michael Owen too - they can take out season tickets in the medical room
Saw his little cameo in the Beer Cup match earlier in the season, when Coquelin and Self-Appointed Hardman Denchboy made him look about about as mobile as a slug.
No thanks.

Re: Owen Hargreaves
We already have a central midfielder who cant get fit so no thanks.
Re: Owen Hargreaves
is this a joke thread cos i aint getting it.
Utd could not fix him, city couldn't fix him, yet arsenal meds can?
I sympathise with any player who is plauged with injuries but do you really want a player who wenger will count as a valuable squad member.
