This is good news...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Montpellier win the French league with an annual budget of less than Andy Carrol's transfer fee. 8)

Obviously Paris SG's mega bucks haven't kicked in yet.

Just shows what can be done if you spend your resources wisely and coach the team well.

What's that you say? A team won its domestic league despite having rival clubs with ten times the spending power?

Haven't Montpelllier heard the rules about that - they are supposed to brainwash their fanbase into believing they can't compete, that UEFA will save the day with their wonderful legally unenforceable rules, to talk about sustainability and celebrate like fuck at scraping into the minor CL places on the final day of the season.

What are they doing going and winning a trophy?

fair play to them winning on a tight budget, but to be honest at the mo, PSG team would struggle to finish in the top 6 in the PL,
