As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Yes it's a place were you have to have yor wits about you just like everywhere else when you're away. I read a report on security over there in Poland and seem very ready for it all.
I'm heading over with a few mate and around 50,000 other paddys so I'm sure it will be safe enough
That programme was essentially about FV. If you go looking for trouble, you'll find it. Keep your head down and you'll be ok. Same as the UK and anywhere in Europe really (except for the blatant racism). Sensationalist and very one-sided. Tarring the whole of the Ukraine with the same brush.

Frank, that is total bollocks.
I just saw some Asian guys being beaten up. Just for being Asian. They were beaten up by people wearing the same team colours.
Are you saying there isn't racism and violence there?
yeah there is racism and violence, but name another country in Europe that don't have the same issues, this program was like a danny dyer most dangerous football grounds
strange BBC panorama report to be honest, because the beeb are showing the euro's in a couple of weeks and you know Lineker, Hansen and Co are going to portray Ukraine and Poland as two beautiful countries.
I think the programme was okay. It is worth highlighting to people that if you go to the Ukraine there might be bother. I doubt there will be any bother in the grounds (although Ukraine v England might be blighted by monkey noises, but hopefully not) but away from the ground people will need to be vigilant. There are a fair few black and asian england fans and they in particular will need to be wary, like I say particularly away from the ground although seeing the attitude of the police maybe even at the ground as well. I hope it passes off without incident, but there were fears of trouble in germany 2006 and that was only avoided by the well organised, vigilant German police, the Ukranian and Polish authorities don't look anything like as organised or anything like as determined to prevent racism/ trouble in general. Black and Asian fans having to be extra vigilant, Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain's families not even traveling, its a fucking disgrace that these countries were ever awarded the tournament until they cleaned up their act but then being a disgrace is about all UEFA and FIFA are good for- euros here and a world cup in Russia where black players are routinely targeted for abuse, sickening

Your mate Darren Bent changed his colour recently
(I know its because he left Sunderland, not due to his skin colour, like pet)

The countries probably are beautiful...Its the people that ruin it...although I guess that could be said for every country in the world...
