I was brought up to say thank you

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Think most people feel the same mate, renewed mine today and everyone I know (those that actually are renewing) did it last night or today, more out of habit than any kind of optimism or enjoyment. Getting harder and harder every year to bother. Not because we hav'nt won a trophy since 2005 blahdiddyblah  Just does'nt feel the same anymore for me, leaving our spiritual home was the beginning of the end. Some might argue that it was when our spiritual home went all seater but at least we were still there when it did and I still loved the place til the end and I'd go back like a shot. Yet another summer of the ususal Wenger bollocks and another season of seeing grossly overpaid, shit players like Squilchi, djourourou etc etc etc etc etc etc  letting the team down again and again against the likes of fucking Wigan, QPR, etc etc etc etc will see a lot more not bother to renew next season. That will be the only thing the greedy grasping fuckers who are in charge of our club will take any notice of at all.

^I think this just about sums it all up. I renewed today as well, after nearly forgetting several times. Contrast that to the past when I was virtually waiting for the post man to arrive with the renewal form so I could get it back straight away. I don’t really care that some people are getting rich off the back of Arsenal - what I care about is the fact that they have no ambition for the Club (just imagine how much more money they could make with a successful team on the pitch). Instead they accept a Manager who is long past his sell by date and reward players who fail season after season. To make it worse, Emirates is full of people who turn up 10 minutes late, leave 5 minutes before half time to get drinks, come back 5 minutes after kick off and leave 10 minutes before the end. Many of them are die hard Arsene FC supporters who allow no criticism of Wenger and instead threaten those who show their disapproval of the continued failure. There is a dreadful atmosphere in the stadium (and I am not talking about the lack of singing – I refer to the negativity between fellow Arsenal supporters). Of course much of this comes from the attitude of some that if you don’t ‘Trust in Arsene’ you cannot be a real Arsenal supporter and you should therefore "go and support Chelsee". These are the same people who share the same complete lack of ambition for the Club as the board. They are content with the current situation stating that “you can’t win something every year”. For them as long as Wenger stays, that is a trophy in itself.

Fantastic post! These sheep bastards are the same dickheads who embraced the 'text a steward' service a few years ago (does that still exist? I haven't been to a home game in two seasons so I don't know). These are also the same wankers who say to Gooners of over thirty years to fuck off and support another team. Alot of anti-Wenger fans were going to Highbury and away grounds before these dicks were even born, and they have the cheek to say that? *word censored* the lot of them, they heretically defend a liar and continue to help kill the club. Spineless dicks.

FACT

To make it worse, Emirates is full of people who turn up 10 minutes late, leave 5 minutes before half time to get drinks, come back 5 minutes after kick off and leave 10 minutes before the end. Many of them are die hard Arsene FC supporters who allow no criticism of Wenger and instead threaten those who show their disapproval of the continued failure.

Bunch o C*NTS :banghead:

excellent post mate says it all....... :cussing:  :cussing:  :cussing: I just do NOT understand these sheeple, they pay loads of wonga to see the manager and team fail season on season and yet seem oblivious to the FACTS :- That wenker and co are half-hearted about everything - so much so that less than any 4 players in the squad show real guts, passion, determination and that they actually CARE!

Wenker's project of bringing young players through (gradually) was all about preparing for tomorrow - Well! Tomorrow is already here...and we are drowning rather than waving....that self same project of preparing for tomorrow has now been adopted Financially - but has no one told wenker and co - tomorrow may never come...and the way things are going it never will :banghead:  :banghead:  .... Stilllllllll as long as the sheeple can get to the hot dogs and the piss weak excuse for ratspiss beer far more quickly now and the new seats are cushioned ..... :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: I feckin' despair I really do.....
