RIP Rodney King,
The Black Guy that the LAPD "kicked the shit" out of.
The fact that the incident was filmed, bought home to us all,(along with the Stephen Lawerence killing),that people within state institutions have to be accountable for their actions, and views,(along with the rest of us of course).
I know that King was far from the "Model Citizen",but he did not deserve the racially motivated beating that he endured.
RIP Rodney King

Seems to have had a troubled life, far from a saint but as you say, he was beaten for no good reason.
One of those names that sticks in the memory.

His name will always be synonymous with police brutality.
He led a troubled life before and after the racial police battering.
I hope that he had plenty of happiness before his demise.
RIP
