Those of us that listen to the wireless, I mean the radio, might be familiar with a certain g-inger-nut Petereborough supporting on Talk Shite. He has a slot every weekday called The Daily Arsenal. It is a thinly veiled wum dig at us.

On tonight's "show", he made, imho, two valid points.

Should the FA get Arsenal to seek a second opinion with regards to JW's injury?

Is it time for Wenger to WALK AWAY from Arsenal?


So, to set the ball rolling.

Arsenal should have asked for a second opinion, with regard to their medical staff some seasons ago. How the buggery was Cesc allowed to play on with a broken leg? Vermaelen and Wilshere, to name a few, are testament to our inept and woeful assessment and subsequent treatment of our player's injuries.

Arsene to go? Meh, I actually believe that due to Wenger's conduct and stubborness displayed on the touchline and in interviews, he is vain enough to believe that it is HIS way, or the wrong way.

Either that, or he is compromising his beliefs and therefore screwing us over, just as the board are.

Regarding the "man whose name I do not even know" comments. JW and Theo have suffered serious injuries while on England duty. It is Arsenal who should be asking questions of the FA.

My advice is to turn off the radio. No offence intended to any Northerners out there but it is pure crass Yorkshire blind arrogance that Darren Gough even tries to pass himself off as a football expert, particularly when all of his views boil down to footballers being Southern Softies. He knows zero about the sport full stop.

You have to expect the presenters to be disingenuous to a degree to stimulate debate and encourage callers, but Durham absolutely takes the piss. I have stopped listening to sports radio except for commentaries but occasionally I have the misfortune to start the car and have to endure 20 seconds of the fools before I manage to change the station. In that brief period the other day Durham managed to cram in the ludicrous propositions that Balotelli would definitely not get in the England team and that England would have hammered Germany, to add to the last rubbish I heard about The Invincibles not actually being that good.

Haha. The last thing I (accidentally) heard before that on there was that only RvP would get into a North London XI. Considering that as I say I go out of my way to avoid listening to the station I can only imagine what dross they fill in between. Tbh it does really make my blood boil but not because I think ANYBODY (even the most ardent Spurs fan) takes the bloke seriously, merely because it perplexes me how somebody can get into what most football fans would regard as a pretty sweet job just chatting utter nonsense like that.

However after a while the penny drops and you realise that he is just a sad twat who will say anything at all to make himself sound contentious. I listen to him as I genuinely find his views funny. Likewise there is comedy gold to be had when DG tries to talk football too. They are a pair of daft bastards who make me laugh when I'm driving home but I suppose it all depends on how wound up you are as a person.
