AC Milan away
I know it's a way off yet but who is going to Milan in March ?
Think I can only do an overnight (I hate it when work gets in the way of Arsenal) so will travel with club i think.
Who else is up for it ?

Maybe some of you lot can give me some advice;
I've traveled away many times in England, but never in Europe. My Dad is totally adamant that he wants to travel to Milan for this, and I'd love to go too, but we're only silver members, so chances of us getting tickets in the Arsenal end are slim, but we could probably get tickets in the Milan end. Anyone who has done the trip before, I'd appreciate advice...

There are 2 airports in Milan
Linate is the very old and knackered one but it is quite close to the San Siro. Not easy by public transport. taxi is best bet.
Malpensa is the new swish one but it is 30 miles out
and costs about 100 euros in a taxi
Get the train from under the terminal and you get to the SS by tram.
BTW for those of you with money the hotel Brun is just across the road from the stadium and is often where the away teams stay.

Before you ask I used to go to Milan on business a lot. One of the offices I went to was about a mile from San Siro and i used to stay in the Brun.
Love to go to this game but can't see me getting tickets unless one of my old contacts can come up with a corporate

Thanks for the hotel idea Chippy. However when I went to Inter Milan I think they did the same as for Lazio/Roma and buses you into the stadium from the centre avoiding all the fans outside the ground. The same afterwards going back into the centre to the main station. So if that is the case it would be better to stay there.
Crocit - all airports have transport links to them
I'm flying Ryan air into Bergamo out Monday night back Wednesday it went a little up as I checked this was ok with my Dad
We flew that route when we played Juventus and didn't think of doing the opposite. Total price paid about £103
