should JD be banned?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

should JD be banned?

Post by highburyJD »

can't take my self defence being deleted (especially when claims I dont believe what I post remain)

I rate Arsene Wenger, with all his many flaws, as a good manager
it irritates me when the staff and players of my club are abused
its amazing that this makes me an extremist on an Arsenal message board but it does

I can't stay on the basis I will have posts deleted whilst militant anti-Arsenal BS and personal attacks remain

Ban!

Purely for putting 'should JD be banned' and not 'should I banned'.

The only person that don't need to be here is Baba because of his 'same shit, different day/US Martin' style of posting.

I think you should stay mate.

I guess your referring to me a little? Fair enough but that case is black and white/night and day as far asI'm concerned. You misunderstood something, then attributed names/headings to me which you yourself would seem to have a problem accepting, so where's the limit? I am happy, clear and contented with that episode and don't much care what you've done or how you've addressed it now.

But you should have the freedom to express what you want. I just don't like you or your writing style. As for your views on Arsenal, well like the majority some excellent points, some rubbish and a lot in between.

Again, you should stay and if people don't like it (i.e: me), then it's up to those people to decide what they do.

Seriously this thread should be deleted - somebody ran a similar thread a couple of years ago and got a bit precious when he didnt like the way the votes were going. This is a free world......stay if you want to stay or otherwise leave but unless you thrown off the forum by the mods then it is your decision and yours alone

Seriously though JD, it's just a message board fella, try and take it with a pinch of salt.

We, the WOB, are a disenfranchised yet vocal minority & the OG gives us a place to shout loudly. We are all Arsenal, it's just that some of us have reached the end of our collective tether.

It's a shame you feel like that.

I deleted those posts from you and the other chap because they'd completely taken over a thread. It didn't add to the thread and was basically just a load of bickering between 2 people who don't seem to like each other very much.

By deleting the posts, it allows the thread to get back on track. Yes, I could have asked you and the other chap to amend your posts, but that seemed a bit unnecessary as they took up an entire page of a 2 page thread.

Sorry if you feel hard done by, but I assure you you haven't been targeted for your positivity.

I sincerely hope you don't take this too personally. If you're a positive poster, then great! - I agree, we need more of them.

Robin (g88ner).

Obviously this thread will now be locked. Hope you don't take that personally either.

Gotta be honest - I agree with g88ner here.

JD - why would we ban you? You haven't broken any rules really. If it's about name calling, you would get a warning before any banning as anyone would.

If you are talking about leaving then that's up to you. I hope you don't, because we need a mix of positive and negative on here or it'll become very boring.

I think the reason you get into so many spats is your posting stylr can appear very patronising and dismissive of others' opinions and that can annoy some posters. Maybe just tone it down a bit and learn to accept that not every one agrees with you?

Anyway, it's just a forum, enjoy it or leave. Only you can decide that.
