Adebayor

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Adebayor

Post by sharpie »

The new Kanu, he has proved that he has a quality finish..but i can't help thinking one thing

i have noticed over the course of the season he is a bit of a donkey...
his first touch isn't what i'd call first class and neither is his ability to dribble and carry the ball..

am i the only one thinking this?

Well he is certainly rough around the edges, but improving all the time I think. Remember back to when TH first signed, he was like bambi on ice at times and he turned out to be not half bad. And even though it pains me to say it I see Drogba there too. That clown was all over the place initially, 1 great play followed by 5 mental plays, and now up there with the best of em. Given the rest of the season, we should see the tree of Adebayor bearing even greater fruit for 2008/2009 :D
