Guess who's back training......

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Guess who's back training......

Post by EC3 »

According to today's Daily Mail "Mikael Silvestre, 35 is training with Arsenal after leaving Werder Bremen"

Mikael Silvestre is quoted as saying "i very much enjoyed my time at Arsenal and hope this can be a new chapter in my career, the supporters have great passion and i felt their love when playing for the Gunners"

See - who said we weren't busy closing out deals in the transfer window at the 11th hour.

Hopefully Mad Jens and Jeremie Aliadiere will also soon follow. Where's Baptista these days ?

Somewhere in Football Dullard Land, a creaky coffin lid has opened and the Daywalker Stepanovs has sat bolt upright, knowing his time has come. :worried:

I find this marginally less ridiculous than the idea that Squillaci is still employed by Arsenal Football Club.

It might give Giroud that little boost in confidence he needs to start scoring some goals. I mean he must be skinning him silly in training each day after all.

What in god's name is gonna happen when Silvestre & Headdie McGoldrick go head-to-head in training?

The immeasurable force versus the immobile reject.

It's really good to see that Wenger is such a gent that he recalls Arsenal legends to use the Arsenal facilities and amenities free of charge! A bit like the time Aliadiere was permitted to use the club to get himself fit and earn a move elsewhere; despite the fact that he very publicly slated the club.
Mind you he's French and he's shite, so no surprises there, Arsene can have him back!
How delighted I am to see Silvestre back. Aaaah yes those heady days. 'We are spoiled' under Arsene. Who could ever forget Silvestre's majestic defensive performance (he even scored a goal!) at home to the Spuds when a 4-2 lead was thrown away with 3 minutes left to play, a 4-4 draw!!!

Who could ever forget his prancing around as he was given a lesson so strenuous by Charles N'Zogbia, as Wigan overturned a 0-2 deficit to win 3-2!!!

Hopefully Arsene can have a wee French together and Remi Garde, Cygan and Guillaume Warmuz can all come and play a game of poker and havea cheeky smoke down at Colney.
