I've always maintained that they are the biggest whiners of the bloody lot and yet this myth exists about what knowledge / wonderful fans they have

a) thanks for the European ban - the media might let you forget it but I won't
b) thanks for shaming us and blaming the police at multiple away games since then
c) 12,000 fans at home to Northampton last year
d) booing your team off after a 0-0 draw with West Ham when top of the league

I would say he did not come through their youth ranks any more than Walcott came through ours...Sterling was bought from QPR not too long ago and is reputedly a boyhood Arsenal fan.
