JULIO BAPTISTA

Post by DERRY GOONER »

who seen his goal in the big game v barca last nite. how the fuck does he come up with stuff like that for madrid and brazil, but couldnt hit a barned door for us, unless he was playing in the carling cup. a enignma if i ever saw 1. later on in the game we seen the "arsenal baptista" when attempting 2 stike the ball, he hit an air shot and missed the damn thing completly.

Quality goal it was. One two in the air with v.nistelrooy, then a bullet of a shot with the outside of the foot into the top corner. Your right mate, why can he do it for madrid and brazil, but couldnt do it for us. Who knows?!

Is there a reason why he was so s**t for us, because both for Brazil in the summer and Real Madrid now he is doing very well.

Methinks ye are giving the big lump too much credie here - do you really think he meant to strike it with the outside of his foot like that or is it more likely and believeable that he sliced his connection hence the spin on the ball  . It is true that he was fcuking woeful for us and was ok last nite for real but honestly last nights game was very poor. I am a big fan of spanish football but last nights game broke the record for the highest amount of diving ever in a football match with the soon to be chavski player(buck toothed ronny) being the main culprit

I have seen the goal and personally didn't think it was that great an effort. Yes it went in top corner but looked like a hit and hope effort to me. The Beast.....more like the Feast....Fat Bastardhole 8)

He arrived not fully fit and pushed up front to lead the line or out wide once he was fit rather then in his favoured position, felt sorry for him but his finishing was awful. Good to see him getting a game for Real

He was never going to cope with the Prmiership. He was way too lazy and unfit. Spanish football is much slower and I could lokk good with the amount of time you get.
Didn't want him and don't miss him!

I think you're being to harsh oin him. Yes, Spanish & International football suits him better, & yes he looked slow & clumsy at times when he was here but nobody can argue with his goal scoring stats.
