Just seen Sheff Wed 'keeper Chris Kirkland decked by a Leeds 'fan'.
Leeds were 1-0 down and equalised. Their supporters behind the nets spilled onot the edge of the pitch. One of them encroached and pushed Kirkland in the face with both hands knocking him over and he needed treatment.
Even more sickening than the actual incident was Leeds manager Warnock, interviewed after the match, while condemning the fan said...... 'Kirkland went down like a ton of bricks'
What a c unt.
And he ushered his players up to applaud the thugs at the end saying something like '........it was an isolated idiot fan, our support was tremendous tonight'
I'm no fan of Warnock but to be fair his actual comments were a bit different;
"I'm absolutely embarrassed - absolute disgrace," said enraged Leeds boss Neil Warnock afterwards. "Get the guy, prosecute him and put him in bloody prison.
"I'm not proud to be Leeds United manager when I see that.
"Our crowd was fantastic tonight - we had one moron.

He also said...'Kirkland went down like a ton of bricks'.......implying that Kirkland had exaggerated the effect of the assault and also imo to to make light of it.
He didn't need to disrespect Kirkland like that especially after he'd just been assaulted!

Absoloute disgrace what Warnock has said. Why the hell would Kirkland fake an injury after beinghit by a fan?! what could possibly be in it for him! Just proves he's a c**t. All Leeds fans will undoubtedly jump to the defence that a few Wednesday fans sang about Istanbul. The fact is they enjoy it when stuff like that happens because its just an excuse to start up the violence they all revel in

The camera followed the guy back into the stand behind the nets where they were all smiles and patting him on the back like a fukin hero returning from the war. Cowardly c unt more like.
