If it should result in a minor niggle/injury to him, that then keeps him out until pre-season 2013, then it would be another nail in the self harmer's coffin.
So, good really.

shows the national game is a joke,

picking a bloke who has been out for 18 months, played 2 1/2 competitive games since coming back and got sent off in one of them

We'd better get used to this with Wilshere because the sad fact is that he is going to be seen as Ing-er-lund's saviour for the next 10 years. We've seen it with the likes of Rooney where he's barely regained fitness for ManUre before the tabloids are screaming out for him to be back for England. The clamour for Wilshere has grown during his absence as England have been mostly awful in that time. The Mickeys have had to put up with it with Gerrard too

Never mind - Jack will be off in the next 3 years or so anyway when he's sick of mixing with international players that play for teams that win things

Fukin mods on here are like Wenger - power crazed egotists.
Way too much power
Talk a load of complete bollox
Cant do their job properly
Show too much faith in really shite posters like ******** ** , humour and mollycoddle them and massage their overinflated egos.
Allow our marquee posters like Baba and Red to leave to our rivals
Show us no respect
Take all the cider and hookers from the owner into their secret room without actually earning any of it

Fukin bastard mods. Fukemall. :box:

Didn't expect any less, England manager is always going to be desperate for a bit of positive press and being able to bring Wilshere back into the side is a rare opportunity for that. I would go off on one about how he needs to find his feet again at Arsenal but since coming back from a huge lay-off there's been so much pressure heaped on his performances by the incompetence of the rest of our squad. I know he got sent off after however long at OT but to then play him the full game in Gelsenkirchen to me was a huge risk.

He's England's best player. Why are you all shocked and bemused at him getting called up? Even if he's not fully fit yet.
