Think they've lost one in 6 or something like that and are making steady progress for a team that was in league 1 20months ago.
Looks like chairman wants his own man.
Yep, just confirmed on SkySports. That is absolutely fucking outrageous. Feel sorry for Adkins - two promotions and along with Reading probably nailed on to go down a couple of months back but he's got them fighting out of the relegation zone and just drew 2-2 at Stamford Bridge.
Hope they go down and he gets a better job. I like the fella - always upbeat.

Jesus. They're 15th for fucks sake. They've been promoted twice and are above Newcastle and Villa, as well as Wigan who've been a PL team for 6 or 7 years and QPR who have spunked away bucketloads of money. Why stick with him when they started woefullly to sack him now he's done a good job of turning things round? Hope they get relegated now.
Looking at the bloke they've got in (might help limit instability but seems hugely disrespectful to Adkins to appoint immediately) it looks like he had a relatively modest record at Espanyol before getting the boot with them bottom of the league last year.
Was hoping they don't get relegated but looks nailed on now because I can't see the players that came up with him being too happy with a new foreign manager who'll probably bring in a bunch of spanish/argentinian journeymen and let's face it for every Michu there's a Boselli.
On the plus side for us and possibly the chavs it'll be interesting to see just how happy Luke Shaw is. Excellent player for his age. Can see him leap frogging Gibbs to be successor to Cashley/Baines.
Wonder if Blackpool can afford his wages because his continuous optimism and style of play could mean they don't miss Holloway too much.
