Who willl this weeks 70th minute substitutions be ?

Post by clockender1 »

a fun game for all the family - as we know that it doesn't matter whether we are 5-0 down at half time or 11-0 up after 70 minutes and AW still puts the preplanned subs on anyway, who do you think the two will be for each game ?

This week : Sunderland (A)

I'm going for Ramsay and Gervinho.

Whoever gets the most right at the end of the season, and i'll write to the club suggesting you take over AW's job next season.

2 guesses? is that allowed?! :o (although Gervinho wont be in the squad, so you're already down to one guess  )

I'll go for Diaby coming on for Podolski.

Although, if you're allowed 2 guesses, so am I...

Ramsey for Podolski.

Is Ramsey fit? Pulled out of Wales game Wednesday.

Oh no, is Gervinho back? :banghead: Rest assured he'll come on for Podolski at 70 mins if he is, no matter the situation. £7.5m a year to make these decisions, genius.

I'll go left field and suggest that it will be mannone for podolski after chesney makes another mental dash from goals and gets red carded
As my back up guess I am suggesting it will be the fat boy replacing nacho :banghead:

I thought Gervinho had been given 5 days off and wasn't with the squad (although its hard to tell when whether he's off or on anyway)

Whether from the bench or to the bench the substitutions will inevitably include Podolski, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ramsey.....and if we're winning Giroud will come off so we can spend the last 20 minutes with no strikers clinging on

That's cheating! - you know the team

I'll change my earlier prediction...

Podolski for Ramsey if we're drawing or losing.

Diaby for Ramsey if we're winning.

Simple (just like Wenger's tactical brain)

no 70th subs this week.boooo !

next game is Blackburn (H) in the cup.

this is set up perfect for the return of our African warrior, so i reckon subs will be - Giroud for Gervinho, Diaby for Ramsay.
