A nightmare that could Happen

A nightmare that could Happen

Post by swimmer1 »

Looking through the fixtures it could be a good possibility that United and JVP could lift the title at the Emirates wonder what sort of reaction that will bring ?. :rubchin: :banghead:

If they come needing points and our lot can't muster up enough fight and passion to stop them that would be another nail in wenkers legacy

Hopefully they'll have it sewn up by then. Guard of honour could happen though. :(

United have a relatively easy month in the league, they could be all but champions if they beat City on 6th April.

Well, we won the league at Old Trafford so I guess it's about time they returned the favour, although it won't be proper as we're not even in the race unlike Man U in 2001!

I do hope we don't give RVP any shit though. It makes us look petty and he's been proven right. Meh.

these are the remaining fixtures (yes i'm bored)

let's assume that both sides win all their games and United win the derby

-------------------

QPR v Man United W
Man City v Chelsea W

Man United 68 Pts Man City 56 Pts - Gap 12 Pts 33 to play for

Man United v Norwich W
Aston Villa v Man City W

Man United 71 Pts Man City 59 Pts - Gap 12 Pts 30 to play for

Man City v Wigan W
West Ham v Man Utd W

Man United 74 Pts Man City 62 Pts - Gap 12 Pts 27 to play for

Everton v Man City W
Man United v Reading W

Man United 77 Pts Man City 65 Pts - Gap 12 Pts 24 to play for

Sunderland v Man United W
Man City v Newcastle W

Man United 80 Pts Man City 68 Pts - Gap 12 Pts 21 to play for

Man United v Man City (UNITED WIN)

Man United 83 Pts Man City 68 Pts - Gap 15 Pts 18 to play for

Man City v West Brom W
Stoke v Man United W

Man United 86 Pts Man City 71 Pts - Gap 15 Pts 15 to play for

Man United v Aston Villa W
Tottenham v Man City W

Man United 89 Pts Man City 74 Pts - Gap 15 Pts 13 to play for

-------------------

it's possible, but not likely. man united's run-in is ridiculously easy, the only places they look like they would drop points would be at the shammers, possibly sunderland and in the derby

assuming city lost the derby they would have to win at tottenham and everton and beat newcastle and chelsea at home to even stay in it

city will drop more points and the more frequently they do that the better. if they lost to chelsea and everton or dropped points in more than 3 games they could potentially hand over the title on united's patch and sir red nose would want that 100 times more than winning the title against us after last year, so i don't see them losing any more games until the derby

two draws against either chelsea (h), villa (a), wigan (h) everton (a), and newcastle (h) would be enough for united to win the title by beating them. the form they are currently in it's inherently possible

if it happens it happens,i hold no grudge against RVP,He left to win trophies as it was becoming clear it was never gonna happen with us.we all hate wenger and want him gone, rvp saw that wenger is never gonna leave making us a lost cause while he remains in charge it left only one thing and that was for him to leave.yes it hurts like hell but take your frustatration out on wenker not rvp.had wenker invested in the team over the past 7 years or so rvp would still be a gooner as would nasri, cesc, flamini, cole etc etc etc
