So is that an advantage to us or not ??

I guess it depends when the game is rearranged to - as home club do we chose the new date ? (obviously after consulting police, fa, everton)

In theory it could be but a lot depends on Sunday's result. If Spurs beat us then win the next week when we don't play, they will be 10 points clear of us with 10 matches to go (although we'd have one game in hand) and with it a huge lead and psychological advantage. :worried: :banghead:  However if we win and get to play Everton when they have either fallen too far back to challenge us or are involved in the Cup and have that as their priority, it could benefit us. 8)

I'm guessing it will be rescheduled to April 16/17 since there are no possible European (haha) or FA Cup replay dates then.

"Further to Everton progressing to the FA Cup quarter final on Saturday, March 9, we can now announce that Arsenal's home game against David Moyes' team, originally due to take place on the same date, has been rescheduled.

This fixture will now take place as under:

Arsenal v Everton
Tuesday, April 16*
Kick Off: 7.45pm
Emirates Stadium

*Please note that should Everton progress to the FA Cup semi final to be played on Sunday, April 14, then the above match will be played on Wednesday, April 17 - kick off 7.45pm."

Everton should beat Wigan so then it's Wednesday 17th April.

So three games in eight days in that period: Norwich (H), Everton (H), Fulham (A). No doubt we'll be lacking a little bit of sharpness by the ten-minute mark in the Norwich game.

Anybody else notice that Arsenal.com was - as late as yesterday evening - unashamedly advertising Everton tickets with the original date, with absolutely no mention of the possibility of it being postponed?

But if they play in the FA Cup Semi on Saturday the 13th, it won't get moved. Horrible for the Everton supporters to make their travel plans that have probably already been messed about by the postponement.

Why they can't just fix it for the Wednesday now and avoid the uncertainty is beyond me. If Everton need a replay in the next round = more waiting around to book flights, hotel, time off work etc. Fucking arseholes :cussing:

Arseholes indeed they are mate, the game is sandwiched in between Norwich sat and Fulham sat.I just had a butchers and Fulham v Chavs from qf weekend will have to be moved too,and itll most probably be to the same midweek. Its hardly as if the extra days "rest" will make any difference  Our bunch of pampered pussies will no doubt be a leetle beet jaded in the warm up for the Norwich game never mind the games to follow
