been honest there wasnt much to shout about last season and a few have come to the fore this year esp hleb and cesc, so for me im going with kolo as he has been consistent all season
Had to be Cesc for me but special mentions have to be made for Clichy, Kolo and the vastly improved Adebayor, anyone who scores against the vermin up the road as often as him is alright by me
not sure why evone goes for cesc - yes he is a quality player but there are far more people in our squad that have significantly improved and played out of their socks for a more consistent period of time. for me, cesc is too obvious.
if u were to say player of last season in 2007, id have said gilberto, if it was so for this season, id see flamini - rather odd considering mathieu is now keeping out gilberto!!
overall tho, i've been impressed with willy thus far
