Re: New Gaffer
My call no one else
I want him as our gaffer
He is shit hot
Knows his football
Is young and hungry
And most importantly
He wont take any shit

Re: New Gaffer
Ivan or Stan wouldn't know anybody on that list, that's the frightening thing. The thought of them choosing the next manager of our club gives me the shits.....and that's coming from someone who wants Wenger out yesterday.

Afraid they're not quoted Quartz. List is from Oddschecker, and I also looked at Skybet.

Re: New Gaffer
capello is an interesting outside bet.
Remi Garde is still doing a good job with Lyon, but its maybe a season too soon.
we have the team, facilities and stadium we just need a coach . as much as i'd like to see Dennis or MVB (which would bring together two childhood dreams - MVB in an Arsenal shirt) we need the defence and dm's coached more than anything so an ex defender makes sense. and deffo not TH14.
but i don't trust this board to pick a manager at all.
were it up to me ? - pick a new coaching staff - seaman to be keeping coach, bouldy, demoted to defensive coach, pires to work with the midfield, dennis to work with the forwards, under someone like Garde or jupp with TA6 as assistant.
and like US sports teams, the manager has a meeting early in the week with the coaches who report on fitness, injuries, statistical data - blood cell count, thyroid, ketones, last match gps data etc and then the scouts report and manager picks the formation and tactics and likely squad.
then the manager confirms the team after a 2nd coaching meeting when the coaches pick the players based on the previously advised tactics and formation.
it may sound far fetched but that's how Liverpool and United do it - City too probably.
and if a player doesn't play well or comes of with a strain, his coach gets a bollocking from the manager.
the managers job is to manage, not coach.
which is lucky because the Wise Woman does no coaching before, during or after the games.

Re: New Gaffer
Its going to be Dragan Stojkovic because they'll let Lord Wankpot pick his own successor in the same way they let him pick his own boss

If Sammy wants Laudrup, does that mean that the odds have just lengthened on it actually happening? I would have thought soTop Londoner wrote:David Moyes 5/2

Speculating on a New Boss is as pointless as arranging a MENSA meeting in Stoke on Trent !

When's the next "world's going to end"? I'm betting that it's around the same time that The Gardener leaves.flash gunner wrote:Herd wrote:Speculating on a New Boss is as pointless as arranging a MENSA meeting in Stoke on Trent !![]()
