Re: Denilson
Denilson’s deal at the Emirates expires in the summer and he told The Sun that he is not sure whether he will be offered a new contract.
He said: ‘My contract ends in June. I don’t know what will happen but I hope my situation is solved quickly.’
Denilson was tipped for big things when he joined the Gunners from Sao Paulo in a £3.4million deal in August 2006, but despite making over 150 appearances for the club his erratic form saw him lose his place before being shipped back to Brazil.

Denilson totally sums up Arsenal in recent years - slow, predictable, lazy but massively overpaid.
