Other weekend Games 13/14th April

Post by LeftfootlegendGooner »

Bit bored and doing some quotes so got Hibs v Falkirk in the background, theres a couple of lookalikes out on the park, The hibs manager is a Marton O' Neil clone and even has his manerisms

The hibs number 7, Griffiths (who has missed two sitters, fuck me make that 3  , he just missed a penalty) looks like Mr Burns from Simpsons

Are you sure Hibs haven't just appointed Martin O'Neill?

Granted them signing Mr Burns slightly less likely.

It's Pat Fenlon and he's Irish as well I think, small gene pool other there so quite a bit of the old "in-breeding" goes on methinks

Cardiff only need 1 point to go up now (hence the whole of South-East Wales saying they're in fact a United/Liverpool AND Cardiff City fan :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: ), looks like Hull will probably be joining them after Watford lost at Peterborough.

Great for Cardiff, about time too.
Fond memories of many visits there, in days of old.

Then again, I recall Wrexham and Newport in the league.

Good place for a visit, shit place for an away football trip. I would imagine so anyway - quite out of town and aside from all being shitholes the only boozers nearby are hardly away-friendly.

I like Mackay and he has turned them from nearly-men into a side capable of getting promoted, and at a time when most thought they'd blown it and would slide away. But all the fans want is to see them kick English people, they don't give a shit about watching decent football. They love Bellamy not because he is miles too good for that level, but because he's a snarling little prick and a nasty piece of work. Chances are they'll be dirty fuckers, certainly at home.

I went to 3 games a few years ago at a time when for some reason I couldn't get to any AFC games for a few months. The season after they'd been promoted and they were doing very respectably yet pulling in less than 10k. Of course all the pricks crawl out the woodwork now giving it CCFC this and that and you can bet they won't struggle to sell out next year. Probably not much different to a lot of clubs I guess but still fucking annoying.
