ST holders forced to move for 3d cameras

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

ST holders forced to move for 3d cameras

Post by Chips and Chocolate »

This will happen at all clubs I take it. It really is a sad state of affairs and noone will do anything about it.

Summed up best by this quote: “If they want the 3D experience they should get to the ground week in, week out like we do.”

Good news. The 3D coverage from most grounds is crap because of where the cameras are stationed.

Whose enjoyment? The armchair fan or the paying supporter?
Who cares about 3 bloody D? It doesn't justify moving supporters away to more expensive seats!

I couldn't give a bollocks about a bunch of retard Mancs having to move seat. Half of them will be prize pricks from Surrey or Devon that loan out their tickets to work buddies anyway :D

What do you mean no one will do anything about it? - about what?

If you don't think a few ST holders should be inconvenienced by moving then I disagree... if you're angry that some are being asked to pay more then I think you have a point... but I think you're actually annoyed that 3D TV is coming... if so, what's your problem with it? :?

As for the quote you liked, “If they want the 3D experience they should get to the ground week in, week out like we do.”, I'd say it's time you woke up and learnt to share  - football is worldwide now, and people will want to watch games on tv if they can't make it every week... I certainly do... sorry :?

Honestly chips, wouldn't you miss football if it wasn't screened on tv? -- I would! world cups, CL finals, Arsenal games I can't get to... I'd miss it big time!

Nothing will happen at our place because the 3D cameras are already perfectly positioned. Probably Emirates and Anfield are the best grounds for 3D viewing. Its absolutely shite at OT, the Etihad and the Shitole......so fuck 'em. I couldn't give a flying fuck about other teams' season ticket holders. I want to have the best possible 3D images of the Spuds choking in May :D

My point is why should paying supporters have to pay more to accomodate what I see as a gimmick (the TV coverage is good as it is)?

Oh, then I agree :D The clubs should offer them alternative seats at the same price. It's unfair to ask them to upgrade.

I thought with your armchair comments, etc. that your point was a little broader than that.

I don't agree. I think it'll get bigger and better. I don't see why people have such a problem with it. Sky pump millions into the game and the latest deal is even bigger. If we had an owner that was prepared to reinvest some of that money we'd all be the better for it.
