Man City in Finland thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Man City in Finland thread

Post by Dan_85 »

So, this should be interesting. A chance to put to the test Lord Wenger's claims that "we can be title challengers with or without signings"

Personally, I reckon if we lose by less than 3 we'll have done well.

The problem is we could lose by 10 and it wouldn't make the slightest fucking difference. 8-2 anyone?

Wenker will just reel off a stream of consciousness from his Excuse-O-Meter© and go purple from talking about Citeh's financial doping.

Man City XI: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy, Fernandinho, Yaya Toure, Silva, Milner, Dzeko, Negredo

Arsenal XI: Szcesny; Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs; Arteta, Wilshere, Ramsey; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Podolski, Walcott.

I wonder who's up front? - Theo or Podolski? :rubchin: both options are possible with that team sheet.

That 'team' can't be far away from the side that played against Sunderland, first game of last season... really depressing... I'm glad I'm not going next week!!! Wenger will probably play a 4-6-0 formation..
