As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Have been reading your posts and comments for many months,thoroughly enjoyed the banter (just like being in the local! - do they exist any more?) but didn't feel up to adding to it
I lost my hubby last year,so wasn't in the best place - but some how came across postings on the spuds conspiracy theories - it was the first time in many months after he died that I laughed out loud. Many thanks to the guys that put it up with their comments & added the links, it was a real tonic. It also highlighted that they NEVER change and are as pathetic as they always have been (on saying that my other half wouldn't have found it funny as he was a Spurs man but I always said he didn't have a sense of humour - he said he must have as he ended up with me!! - proving the point, didn't have a clue!!))
Just a quick hello really & MANY thanks for giving me a lift when I needed it.
I now feel ready to add to my 2 bobs worth & those of you that don't agree, remember 1 thing - respect your elders!!( also I was a 70's child when hooliganism was the norm -so don't give me the 'ump!!)
I like the "respecting your elders" bit. But I'm afraid the young whippersnappers on here will have none of that. They ain't been brung up proper, like what I've been.
Welcome indeed - we used to have a few female posters on here but they dont post as often as they used to (I think) so it is good to bring that number back up again
