League Cup Draw Tonight

Post by VoiceOfReason »

Anybody remotely bothered who we get? Here's the draw numbers:

1. Arsenal
2. Birmingham City
3. Bristol City
4. Burnley
5. Chelsea
6. Derby County
7. Fulham
8. Huddersfield Town
9. Hull City
10. Leeds United
11. Leicester City
12. Liverpool
13. Manchester City
14. Manchester United
15. Norwich City
16. Peterborough United
17. Southampton
18. Sunderland
19. Swansea City
20. Swindon Town
21. Tottenham Hotspur
22. Tranmere Rovers
23. West Brom
24. West Ham
25. Accrington Stanley or Cardiff City
26. Aston Villa or Rotherham United
27. Everton or Stevenage
29. Morecambe or Newcastle United
30. Nottingham Forest or Millwall
31. Stoke City or Walsall
32. Watford or Bournemouth

Nothing stands out as a particularly good trip, although somewhere different would make a change.

Pretty bored tonight, so likely to watch Celtic/Karagandy or Morecambe/Newcastle. Can't decide which will be the least offensive. Any advice?

I'm planning to watch Barca vs Atletico, it's at 10pm. The first leg of the Super Cup was 1-1, Villa and Neymar getting the goals.

We'll get the usual home draw against lower league opposition.

The AKBs will be cumming in their pants as will Patrick Barclay and John Cross who will purr over the latest generation of talent as we brush past Peterborough 5-1

Doesnt matter who we get in this cup as it will be offered up as a sacrifice in his vain attempt to win the CL,with a squad of about 14 players.

CL draw also tomorrow - didn't think it merited its own thread.

Could potentially face PSG, Dortmund and Napoli

Derby. buggers knocked Brentford out...they needed the cash too.

personally, i hope its a lower league ground where ur fans can stand and jump around, and the other club will benefit meaningfully from the TV revenue. Huddersfield maybe ?

Pretty good draw, for Sky, lots of great ties to put on the box, no doubt the Surrey/victims game will be on telly. If we don't buy anyone(WE Won't), then we will be fielding the Academy team with all the injuries we're picking up. Failing that we could always get the ladies to turn up at least they have an actual trophy winning mentality as opposed to a virtual one

I fcuking well hope we do - some cretins argue that we need to qualify for champs league group stage cos of revenue and prestige reasons so these people have had their wish granted but now if we are showed up in that group and dont even qualify for europa then it will be a good days work 8)

Difference financially between getting knocked out in group stages and last 16 surely isn't that big anyway?
