But seriously I'm glad that we've signed a goalkeeper. We've needed a third senior GK since selling Mannone.

Re: Viviano Signs
I don't rate Cheney too highly so hope this bloke is good enough to take the number 1 shirt off him

Never really heard of him tbh - is he any good? Would Cesar have been better?

Re: Viviano Signs
Much needed back-up but imo we need a number 1. Szczesny cost us far too many goals last season and as soon as he gets comfortable again in a few weeks will start charging out of his box and flapping round all over the shop again.
Personally think it was a dreadful decision not to sign Lloris last year and criminal not to nick Cesar for next to nothing this summer.

Re: Viviano Signs
Why have Palermo allowed him to leave on loan ?
Re: Viviano Signs
Don't know, but probably because they're in Serie B and the player feels he's too good to play at that level? - either that or his wages are incompatible with a Serie B club?SteveO 35 wrote:Why have Palermo allowed him to leave on loan ?

Wenger in the statement on Arsenal's website - "he provides us with excellent cover to our existing goalkeepers".1989 wrote:Italian international, only behind Buffon. Enough said.
He could be the love child of Dino Zoff and Lev Yashin - doesn't matter if he doesn't play.
