As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Some people will question having wally walnut in the side but imo he offers something different and all those goals he scored last season can't be ignored. It's all well and good being able to tippy tappy your way through teams with 5 central midfielders in October but as the season progresses we're gonna need Walcott imo.
Of course having all our players fit rarely happens and if it does it never lasts more then a couple of games but its still good to see that we have some genuine depth
Agree with your starting line-up.
It offers balance and variety and pace, with the three attacking midfielders able to swap around during the game.
My bench would eventually have Oxlade-Chamberlain instead of Arteta, simply because of his versatility, though on recent pre-injury form The OX has not been great and we will have to see how he is post-injury.
Same goes for Podolski, who if he takes time coming back from injury would open up a bench spot for Gnabry.

I can't agree with playing Ramsey in a holding midfield position alongside Flamini, Ramsey form and amount of goals this season, is surely down to playing further up the field in a free role, Wenger tried playing him on the right against WBA and it was probably Ramsey worst performance this season.

A very nice conundrum to have - in fact the best since seeing spursrshit on an episode of countdown.

That is essentially where he was playing yesterday though. Flamini will be the more defensive of the two, Ramsey will have licence to get forward but I wouldn't put him in the Ozil position for obvious reasons and I prefer cazorla and Walcott in the wide areas.
Can't look past that line up right there. Walcott isn't good enough to warrant relegating either Wilshere or Flamini to the bench to accommodate him on the wing and he's certainly not going to displace Cazorla or Ozil from the side.
Agree with the first line up posted, we need Walcott in the team as he offers something different and we saw against Sunderland that having him in the team gives Ozil the freedom to play balls in behind the opposition defence. There were times yesterday where players like Wilshere and Ozil had the ball in good positions but because we had no pace in the team we couldn't counter attack quickly.

Well, that's by the by as they don't play the same position. Not at Arsenal anyway (nor for Germany and France whenever I've seen them play)
You may be right of course, but there's little evidence (from games in an Arsenal shirt) to support it... so for those of us who didn't follow the Bundesliga, and only going on performances in an Arsenal shirt, I think it's quite reasonable that people are selecting Giroud in their 'best Arsenal team' and isn't quite as outrageous as you seem to be making out, sir
