During the summer I generally thought that Brendan Rogers made a bit of a cock of himself over the Suarez business but at least Liverpool came out from day one and said very clearly "not for sale". Well, yeah, but it's in their interests to though as it sells copy. There are three daily football papers in Spain so they basically invent stories in order to scoop their rivals.

Plus, if the Star are reporting it then it's clearly horseshite, I wouldn't wipe my arse with that awful, awful rag.

I would hope they wouldn't. No amount of money is worth selling a potential club legend who will give us 15 years' world class service. He's an Arsenal boy as well, came through the ranks and lives a few miles away from the stadium. Some players are genuinely "unsaleable"; Jack falls in that category.
