Boy the early to mid 70’s were a fashion nightmare .
Skins had gone so had the suedehead look then it all went pete tong.
Bootboys looking like glam rockers ,I remember Millwall wearing Dr Martins painted silver with blue stars on them wtf was that all about ?
And what was the status quo thug look all about ?
I remember wearing those awful brutus oxford bag jeans ,wrap round wool jackets and the like before graduating to the American college boy look around 75 .
Worse though was ooop north like where they were still wearing skinner jeans until 77 and even worse than that was the people from up the road who only stopped wearing donkey jackets in 1982

I actually recognize the geezer in the singlet , he was a bit of a face in my very early teens .
