As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Well, well. I deferred my season ticket offers in 2011 and refused them in 2012. Just been emailed and phoned by the club and I am back on the list foc!
Not the actions of an organisation with a huge waiting list!

Wimped out I'm afraid! As I was getting soemthing for nothing I didn't want to push my luck.
Last year I did tell them I wouldn't buy a ST while AW was in charge.

It's simple WENGA OUT, WONGA IN
If it's a straight choice between keeping hold of the manager that's in charge of a league-topping team or having one extra moaner sat in the stands, then I doubt I'm alone in praying for the status quo

Right, that's it. I'm adding your name to "the list".

People are already paying the full Sky / BT package in the UK which costs a small fortune.......then clubs want to charge a minimum of £60 per home game rising to £100 for all the games that are already on there.
Arsenal's added 'crime' has been to continue to do this whilst serving up a diet of virtual trophy football and making a profit in every transfer window. The Summer window saw a £30m net investment but also freed up a massive chunk of the wage bill and the net investment in the squad since 2006 is still an absolute embarrassment for a supposed elite club
Kroenke needs to prove he's here for the long haul and reinvest additional funds in the squad on a consistent basis before I would even consider a season ticket or even regular attendance
I am a bond holder and also have a silver membership. I take my mates spare season ticket so I don't exercise my right to purchase one season ticket.
Arsenal rang me up today and said that I have previously been on the season ticket waiting list for 2 seats (I didn't take up my option 2 years ago). They have said I can go back onto the waiting list free of charge. I asked how long the waiting period is, the guy said 4 to 10 years. Why do I get the feeling that the waiting list that was huge a few years back is now severely depleted and Arsenal need new fans to take up season tickets.
I expect a phone call this summer offering me two tickets for next season !
Have heard of numerous people getting this phone call recently, after dropping off the list or refusing an ST, AFC seemingly desperate to get you back on board. The fabled waiting list is a myth, I reckon it's only a fraction of what it was.
You shoulda grilled them harder on why they were so desperate to get you signed up again...
