Only 1 previous match that I have attended in the FA Cup a couple of years back resulting in a 4-0 victory for us in a replay

A Billy Bendtner with a header from a corner....

Anybody got any particular memories from games gone past ?

Ah the 1927 final. I remember it well. The keeper made Almunia look like Gordan Banks

January 1980 FA Cup 3rd round away.

Took the Special down to Cardiff and back, took about 5 hours each way. I remember looking out of the train windows as it slowed to approach Ninian Park station, you could see through the back of one of the stands at the ground, all their hairy muppets staring straight back at us.

I managed to smuggle a quarter of Bell's into the ground, but dropped it at the feet of a local copper without the bottle breaking. "Oh dear!" he said, bending down to pick it up. "That was close." And handed it back to me.

Nil-nil draw. Awful.

Replay at Highbury. I took my brother's future father-in-law Taff (I think he was Welsh) Cobley to the match. We stood together in the North Bank. Two-one to the Arsenal, both our goals from Alan Alan Sunderland. When Cardiff scored, Taff went a bit noisy and got some abuse.

Another awful game.
