The 1-2-3 order of hatred
The 1-2-3 order of hatred
Anyone who was there yesterday couldn't failed to have walked away with anything other than a massive great big grin on their face, and a special feeling that you get from only beating them. Over the years we've enjoyed important wins against all of the major clubs, and the balance of power in English football has swung between various clubs over the decades. That has brought up several different rivals over the years - Liverpool in the late 80s, the plastic Mancs in the late 90s and early 00s, the Chavs when they finally got some money after years of being a no-history bunch of yo-yo wankers etc.......but our hate for the Swampdwellers remains constant.
As I chatted to the old man and his cronies after beating them last night, it was unanimous that victory over them still feels better than anything else. After that, there were differences of opinion - largely influenced by the era you grew up in or the area you live in or were raised in. Apart from the Scummers there were votes for the Mancs, Chavs, Mickeys, Leeds (there were some old boys there !), West Ham.....even a bit of 'modern day' City hatred !
So, for the rest of you out there, what's your pecking order of hatred ? Mine goes a bit like this.....
1. Undoubtedly those poor, lowlife bastards from the Lane
2. Chavski - not a single redeeming feature. Haven't met a fan of theirs I could even begin to have a sensible conversation about football with. A classless team, with a classless manager stuffed to the gunnels with chavvy wankers like Terry, Lumpard, Cole and mercenary twats from every corner of the globe. When they won the European Cup, I would put it in the top 3 worst footballing moments ever
3. Liverpool - Victim FC. The years of those dodgy penalties in front of the Kop, the mythical great fans that turn on their team quicker than any other, the victim culture, the ridiculous media bias and above all their disgraceful behaviour abroad which led to the European ban for English teams.....these days conveniently forgotten following the tragic events of Hillsborough. I swear if any other team in England had caused that ban it would still be referred to this day.
Yep, United don't even make it into the top 3. Although their fans are mostly plastics I actually have some respect for the way they've pretty much been self built and managed. They've had plenty of tossers playing for them down the years but I don't have them in the same bracket as those 3 bunch of wankers above !

1) Middlesex FC
2) Chavski
3) West Ham. I can't be the only that's noticed that since Green Street came out more people, a lot not even from London, started to support them lot.

1. Tottnumb, it's one thing hating your local rival but we're extra-blessed in that we have a local rival that is so easy to hate. I haven't actually met a fan of another club that likes Spurs, I know Arsenal fans can be seen as arrogant at times but at least you don't have to be in your 60s to remember the last time we were any good. They honestly see no embarrassment in all that "the game is about glory" shite, it is completely cringe worthy and they are hated up and down the country. Oh and they are situated in statistically the worst place in the country that isn't even within intercontinental ballistic missile range of public transport. Their only contribution to the match yesterday was throwing coins and abusing an injured player, shit, overrated support with that fucking atrocious sing-a-southampton-song-slowly-and-wiggle-your-fingers thing. Horrible.
2. Chelsea, half of my family are Chelsea fans and while they're nice enough people in small doses but talking to them about football is like eating monkey balls. I also live in a Chelsea area and they are the most unbearable *word censored* you could imagine, not a single one could tell you who Peter Osgood was. Agree with SteveO, the day they won the european cup was actually my worst experience in football to date. Fucking useless German wankers, I bought shit loads of becks that day and everything.
3. Yanited, Liverpool being good lasted until I was about 2 years old. The thing that I hate most about the mancs has been their patronising know-it-all fans and their drunkard manager who suddenly became Wenger's best mate when we were shit and were having a go at Arsenal fans for losing patience. Let's see how the patience of these *word censored* holds up when they go 8 years without winning a trophy. Many of them have barely lasted 6 months of being shit. Their fans are also quite similar to chav fans in that I know more about their club then most of them do, 90% of them only spring up when the cub is in some kind of major final. Cringe.

1 :- It's got to be Totteringham , it's in the breeding.
2 :- Liverpool " that bloody song " that gets televised everytime they pipe up.
3 :- Split between City and Chelsea what's the phrase Financial doping.

1. Those c*nts down the road
2. Chav no history c*nts (although that may have a lot to do with jealousy of their recent success) Success their c*untish fans don't deserve)
3.Mickeys/plastic mancs

Re: The 1-2-3 order of hatred
Cannot say every fan of these clubs is no good because they all have some sensible fans and I have or have had Spurs, West Ham, Chelsea, QPR, Leyton Orient, Man Utd and Liverpool in the far reaches of my family (close family are all Arsenal) so it is not hatred but in terms of not liking others:
1.) Chelsea
- Their locals do not discuss football.
Just drone on in that grim West London monotone about how they are better than any other team "Man for Man".
Seem to have nothing to offer apart from a dislike of everything.
But where were they before 2004?
Do have some OK fans but tend to be not locals, these are the more recent fans who know they got lucky with a cash injection.
2.) Spurs
- Our rivals, but these days I feel as much pity for them as anything else. They keep harking back to the Glory Glory days of 1961!
Some revolting arrogant fans who literally have nothing to shout about when faced with our record.
Other fans of theirs who you can talk to, they are resigned to many "False Dawns', have been beaten into submission.
3.) West Ham
- Not a big club in any sense beyond developing some decent players, but carry on as if we are their rivals and they are important.
Little to cling to apart from violence, R.I.P John Dickinson.
But have some OK fans who you can talk to and know they are miles off the top clubs.

Re: The 1-2-3 order of hatred
I think that the scum will always be number 1 enemy but for me, maybe it is an age thing, but I don't have a fixed order of clubs I hate
Right now my hatred of the chavs is right up there with my hatred of the scum but will I feel the same way when their pikey captain, their judas mobile phone loving left back, their pie eating midfield barrel and their smarmy arrogant irritating c*ntbag manager all fcuk off ? With or without their Russian money I am still fully expecting them to drop away from being classed as a top club whenever those prix are all gone and then they will be an irrelevance to me again and I cant wait for that day
A few years ago there was a big group over here that referred to themselves as abu's (anyone but united) and we had some great verbal battles with the manure loving c*nts over here
These days I don't feel any differently towards them than I do towards the victims - both have too many fans around my town
The level of hatred def has subsided though and that surprises even me
Has my hatred dwindled with the departure of c*nts like keane, Neville, sheringham and cuntona and of course that red nose manager c*nt
Apart from my getting older, the two main reasons for my change in attitudes is the huge decline in physical football (no more dirty team as such) and the tv saturation issue. Years ago (even in the early sky years) there was minimal live football on tv and by and large most games featured the better teams which built up a man's hatred for those clubs. These days there is so much footie on tv that I now found myself looking at games admiring other team's players as much as anything else and that is also down to the influx of foreign players as technique and skill are becoming appreciated assets.
A lot of my hatred these days is focused on individuals rather than clubs - fat sam, pardew, stevie me, greedywhore, twitcher, Ferdinand, roy keane, pubis and shawcross receive more of my anger than most clubs

Re: The 1-2-3 order of hatred
Spurs first although I do think that is an ingrained thing that one learns from day 1.
Chelsea second ... as some have already indicated... nigh on impossible to find something nice about their fans
Third is somewhat different and is more on recent personal experiences over last few years when my daughter was in uni at Keele, and a couple of times I got extra tickets for games when we we're playing nearby and took her along and maybe it was that we either lost or drew at best, every time we went, or maybe it is that they had a turd for a manager (and in fact still do, just a slightly different type of turd), or that their fans are dispicable troll type creatures, or their football ground is dull and in the middle of a dull piece of apparent scrap land, or they play football they way they do and kick our players when they get the slightes opportunity, but basically I really fcuking hate STOKE and given it asks for a 1-2-3 in the thread title, my current third are Stoke.

1 The tiny totts - who reside in Middlesex yet proclaim North London is theirs.
I think their hatred of us, unsurprisingly surpasses our of them as jealousy does that.
2. Bin dippers - grew up in an era where the won everything, got every ref decision and loads of mates at school in South West London supported them. Can't abide " you'll never ***** alone" have walked out of pubs before when it has been played. Their famous "atmosphere" is a tabloid myth, their fans are as shit when their team are shit as anyone's.
3 Mancs (red) Like others this stems from the armchair supporters who know fuck all about football and the fact that they single handedly stopped us from winning everything for what would have been 7/8 years in a row when we came 2nd far too often. Has slightly abated with no RVN, Keane, Neville on the pitch but Rooney does make up for that
West Ham and Chelsea, Man City for me aren't rivals to us, although it does grate about Chelsea's recent success - but then some might still have a dislike of Huddersfield on that basis

Re: The 1-2-3 order of hatred
Who do I enjoy beating the most ?
1. United. The last 19 years have been unbearable.
2, Chavs . Long long overdue victories. The ECL win makes 99% of them unbearable.
3. Leeds. Will never be forgiven for gleefully costing us two titles in favour of 'allegedly' their most hated rivals, and general all round horribleness.
As for the spuds - I don't hate them, I pity them. I think any rivalry with us is in their minds and they have had more in common with West Ham n Fulham over the last 30 years than us.
When was the last time they denied us a trophy ? 91 was it ? - 23 years ago. A generation.
